Using OxyBoost
These terms cover the OxyBoost iOS and Android apps, web training app and oxyboo.st website, operated by Artem Verbat. Contact support@oxyboo.st for questions about the service, your account or a purchase.
By using OxyBoost, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement or have permission from a parent or guardian where required. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.
The iOS app is also licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple’s applicable purchase terms govern transactions through the App Store. Nothing here limits mandatory rights provided by law or replaces those applicable Apple terms.
For the Android app, purchases made through Google Play are also subject to the applicable Google Play Terms of Service. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
Training and external sensor readings
OxyBoost provides breathing timers, configurable exercises and a training diary. It is not a medical service or a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It does not diagnose conditions, recommend medical treatment, establish safe breath-hold limits or monitor whether a training session is safe.
Optional heart-rate and blood-oxygen readings come from compatible external sensors. The app does not measure them using the phone itself. Availability, accuracy and delays depend on the sensor, connection, device and software. Readings may be missing, interrupted or inaccurate; do not use them for medical decisions or as a safety signal for extending a breath hold.
Seek advice from a qualified health professional before starting breathwork or apnea training and before making medical decisions. Do not use the app while driving, operating machinery or in another situation where distraction, dizziness or loss of consciousness could cause harm. Do not practice breath holds in water alone. Stop a session if you feel unwell and seek appropriate help.
Your account and content
Keep your account access secure and provide accurate information when it is needed for the service or a purchase. You are responsible for the content you create or share and for ensuring that you have permission to upload it.
You retain your rights in your exercise configurations, notes and other content. You give us permission to store, process, synchronize and display that content as needed to provide the features you use. If you enable exercise sharing, anyone with its link can view or save its configuration. Sharing an exercise does not publish your personal session history or sensor readings.
Do not misuse the service, interfere with its security, access someone else’s account without authorization, or use it to distribute unlawful or infringing content. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks or legal requirements.
Background music
Where available, background music is supplied by an external music provider. See its service terms, privacy policy and music license. Use tracks in accordance with their applicable license; artist, source and license links are available in the player.
Saving a favorite keeps it in your playlist. Offline listening is available only for tracks whose artists permit public downloads, and availability may change. Saving a favorite or purchasing OxyBoost access does not transfer ownership of the music or grant rights beyond its applicable license.
Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds
OxyBoost offers free features and optional paid access. The plan, price, currency, billing interval, applicable taxes and any introductory offer are shown before you confirm a purchase. Features and offers may differ by platform or region.
A recurring subscription renews at the interval and price disclosed at checkout unless you cancel. Any trial or introductory period applies only when expressly offered at checkout. We or the billing provider will give any notice or obtain any consent required for a price or subscription change.
- App Store purchases: Apple processes billing. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account’s subscription settings. Refund requests for these purchases go through Apple. See Apple’s cancellation instructions and refund request instructions.
- Google Play purchases: Google Play processes billing. Manage or cancel renewal in Google Play subscriptions, using the Google Account that made the purchase. For a standard recurring subscription, cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues for the period already paid, subject to refunds and applicable law. See Google Play’s cancellation instructions. Cancellation does not automatically refund earlier charges. Refund eligibility depends on the purchase, timing, payment method and location under Google Play’s refund policies and applicable law. Follow Google Play’s refund request instructions or contact support@oxyboo.st for help with a purchase issue.
- Website purchases: Our billing and payment providers handle checkout. Use Manage subscription in OxyBoost when available, or the management link in your billing email. Contact support@oxyboo.st if you cannot access subscription management or want to request a refund for a web purchase.
Cancellation stops future renewal. Paid access normally continues until the end of the paid period, unless a refund, the purchase terms or applicable law provides otherwise. A cancellation is not itself a refund request. Any refund, withdrawal or other consumer rights that apply by law remain available.
Deleting your account, removing a sensor, signing out or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Use the billing channel where you made the purchase. Sign in with the same OxyBoost account to restore supported subscription access across your devices.
Availability and changes
Features may depend on your device, browser, operating system, network connection and external sensor capabilities. Not every sensor or browser is supported. Offline changes may need a connection before they appear on your other devices.
We may update the service to improve it, fix issues or respond to security and legal requirements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every error will be corrected immediately. We will provide notice and any remedies required by law if a change materially affects a paid service.
Ending use and responsibility
You can stop using the service at any time. Use the OxyBoost account and data deletion request to ask support for permanent deletion. The Privacy Policy explains verification, possible retained records and backup handling; submitting a request does not immediately erase your account. Cancel any subscription separately through its billing provider.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without promises of particular training results, sensor accuracy or suitability for medical use. We are not responsible for failures of a third-party sensor or service that are outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or removes any non-waivable consumer rights, statutory warranties or remedies. Applicable mandatory consumer law continues to protect you.
Updates and contact
We may revise these terms as the service changes. The current version and update date are shown here, and we will give notice of material changes where required. Contact support@oxyboo.st with questions or to resolve an issue.
